Meet our Environmental Quality and Land Use intern, Zoe Need! Zoe is a second year undergraduate pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a minor in Studio Art and a Certificate in Applied Research and Inquiry.
In her fourth semester as an intern with the office, Zoe gathers current and existing data on campus trees, tracks the health of campus trees, and evaluate the differences between the current canopy and the canopy in 2008. Through her internship and other work, Zoe has learned the importance of connecting analytical science to visual communication.
Check back later this week for a blog from Zoe about the many trees on campus!
