Meet our utilities conservation and behavior change intern, Jayson Arend! Jayson is a junior in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs pursuing a degree in environmental science and a minor in business. He is interested in how sustainability can lead to economic prosperity and social equality for everyone. Over the summer and the academic year, he has investigated energy and water conversation solutions for the University and organized the Energy Challenge. The challenge is a 3-week long educational initiative that promotes and rewards sustainable behavior by showing students that their actions can make an impact on the world around them.
